All around Hampton Roads, residents are sporting new cars as they trade up their clunkers for cash rebates. For residents who haven’t purchased their new cars yet, there’s no need to go from dealership to dealership searching for the right deal. On August 21, 22, and 23, Chartway Federal Credit Union will co-sponsor a 1,000-car tent sale.
 
Chartway Federal Credit Union, eager to help residents get more flash for their cash, will co-sponsor the event with The Virginian Pilot and Auto Guide to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The auto extravaganza will be held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

“The timing is apt - especially now while the “Cash for Clunkers” program has been extended,” stated Ron Burniske, Chartway President and CEO. “We want to show our appreciation to our members and to our community by providing a venue to purchase affordable vehicles.”

The free event will feature new and used cars from area dealerships. Representatives from Chartway Federal Credit Union will also be on hand to assist with financing.
